We started following model Jenny Parry’s blog On The Way Out and Instagram to lust after her Cali-cool life one long winter’s day in New York. We wished we were her – spending afternoons on the beach, and soaking in the sun in slinky little slip dresses – carefree and stunning. But after meeting her, our jealousy quickly turned to major respect. What we saw on her feed was just the outcome of her tenacious hard work. Even on our shoot day, she was hustling across town (we’re talking about Los Angeles traffic and distances here!) for two other appointments. Always humble and dreaming, Jenny reminds us that there is no limit to pursuing our passions.
Fashion. I think about clothes way more than what’s considered normal.
New York City because there is always something new to discover. You can walk down any street and there is a cool restaurant, bar, shop, etc. to check out. I’ve never lived there so anytime I go, I have a great time, I never get tired of it.
On a deeper level, love. On a physical level, it’s Burt’s Bees chapstick.
So many things…music, films, traveling, books, past decades, old magazines, road trips, my friends…
Anna Karina. I always love the style of French actresses in the 1960s.
I feel like whenever people wear their clothing with confidence they exude style. My style advice is always wear what makes you happy. If you feel good in what you are wearing, whatever that may be, you are just naturally going to have style.
my wedding ring and my moonstone ring
YSL Beauty Touche Eclat, Burt’s Bees chapstick (see, I am addicted), black liquid eyeliner (I’m always wearing a cat eye)
Believe in yourself, you are good enough. I have to remind myself of this all the time. But you really can do whatever you put your mind to.
